This beautiful picture, taken recently by my daughter-in-law Jennifer Fry, reminds me of a scene in my book Amena’s Quest.
Amena and her father had been attacked by ferocious beasts in the forest and barely escaped with their lives. After leaving the horrible creatures behind, they labored on through the forest wanting to put as much distance between them and their attackers as possible. However, night closed in on them, and they could not see to continue their journey. Feeling their way along in the darkness, they finally saw the stars twinkling above them and knew they had made it out of the deepest part of the forest. This was the reassurance they needed to know they could lie down for the night and continue their journey in the morning.
We often find ourselves in darkness as we travel the difficult roads of life. Yet we can find reassurance in the smallest glimmer of light, knowing only then that we may hope for morning to come.
I can't wait to share my book with you and with the young readers in your life. I believe the message is for all ages. You can get your copy at the following link: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B099XMMKM4
