I did a bit of research to save YOU some time. I know you want to share the love of Jesus with your little ones this Christmas, so I went in search of children's Christmas books to recommend to you. I must say I was shocked at what I found.
Walmart had a small selection of Christmas books on their shelves, but not one of them had a Christian message! I then went to my computer and scrolled through the offerings under "Children's Christmas Books" on Amazon. I stopped after I scrolled through 45 titles and found only two that hinted very remotely at a Christian message. My book, of course, is available through Amazon, and it is all about Jesus, making it quite the exception to the rule.
Finally I went to Hobby Lobby where I did find some children's books with a Christian message. The two that you see pictured next to mine are from there. The Arch Book series has been a favorite of my family for years and remains true to the Bible although some of their stories are very well told and others are less well-done. I feel this one could be improved upon, but in view of the shortage of Christian Christmas literature, I still recommend it. So it's the Berenstain Bears to the rescue! This series remains true to our Christian values, and the message is always excellent.
So don't waste any time searching for the right books for the little ones in your life. You may peruse the shelves at Hobby Lobby, and by all means, go to the link below and get Gabriel's Big Announcement.
