Why Do I Write?

The quote you see illustrated below is taken from my middle-grade novel, Amena’s Quest. In this scene, Amena’s mother is extremely ill and assumes she will not live much longer. As her family gathers round, bewildered at not being able to help her, she reassures them, “It’s alright…because I met the king, and I am a new creature! My life is fulfilled now, and the rest of you can tell the story for me. I want everyone to know what he has done for me. That’s all that matters.”

These simple words explain precisely why I write. Whether it be a novel for children, a nonfiction book for an adult audience, a short story, or a rhyming Bible story, my purpose is to tell about Jesus, all he has done for me, and what he can do for you. I invite you to visit my website, www.HolliFryBooks.com to view descriptions of the books I’ve written and a few that are still in process. While checking out my website, be sure and submit your name and email address so you can become a member of my email newsletter group. This way you will be the first to know as each new book is published.
Until then... Grace and peace to you,
Holli Fry
P.S. I’d like to know what kinds of books you read. You may email me through the chat feature in my website to tell me about your favorite book. I look forward to hearing from you.
