As my husband and I raised our children, we constantly searched for quality children’s books--particularly those that reinforced our Christian values.
Some of our favorites were Tales of the Kingdom by David and Karen Mains and The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe by C. S. Lewis. We didn’t limit ourselves to specifically Christian books as long as the intrinsic values were consistent with our Biblical standards. Two excellent examples of this are The Princess and the Goblin by George McDonald and Horton Hears a Who by Dr. Seuss.
What are some of your favorite classic children’s books? I'm interested in knowing more about you and what you like to read with your children, grandchildren, students, etc. You may reply to this question by visiting my website (https://hollifry.wixsite.com/books) and clicking on the "Chat" button. This message will come to me as an email, and I will respond to you personally. I also may use this information in a future blogpost, as I believe we should all be searching for better reading for our children and grandchildren.
If you haven’t already done so, please order your copy of my novel, Amena’s Quest. I hope you will soon add this title to your list of favorite children’s books. You can learn more about this book in my website and can order it there, or simply click on the following link to order your copy: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B099XMMKM4.
Until then...
Grace and peace to you,
Holli Fry
